Where are you located? What areas do you serve? Do you travel?
I reside in Pontiac, IL and serve the entire Central, IL and Chicagoland area. I will happily travel and I am available to destination weddings.

What is included in the session price?
The session fee covers the time and talent of the photographer. Print and digital products are purchased at your in-person ordering session.

How long does is take to get products?
Print products take about 7-10 days and canvas and other photo items take anywhere from 2-3 weeks.

What to Wear?
Whatever you wear should be comfortable, and should be something you like to wear and makes you feel good about yourself.
Solid colors photograph better than patterned materials. White, black, brown, and grey work well, especially with a pop of color. Steer clear of polka dots, stripes and big logos and opt for fun colors instead.
Coordination does not mean you have to match. Choose 2-4 colors and mix it up a little!

Where will the photos be taken?
I highly recommend and prefer taking your portraits outdoors in the spring, summer and fall. I also have a studio and love doing studio work!

What is your style of photography?
While explaining my photographic style in words is rather difficult, I would use three words: real, honest, and candid. I love capturing the natural, candid side of my clients with a professional flare but I also believe that gently moving clients into tried and true poses make for timeless, beautiful photographs.

Do you edit the images before we get them?
Yes, I do. I like to hand-edit my images one at a time. Hand-editing images is very time consuming, but I believe it is very important to pay attention to every single detail in an image.

Do we get to see every image in color AND black & white?
No, you will not. Although, I do show you some images in black & white, all images are not warranted to be in black & white as well as not all images are warranted to be in just color.

Can we see every image you take?
I do not show my clients every image I take. However beautiful they are, there are always those shots that are less than perfect due to blinking, off colors or other situations out of my control. It is my process to only show what is of highest quality and I take more than enough photos to ensure that I can provide you with a large amount of high quality images. It is not my process to show any images other than those that were chosen as finest quality. This is my strict process. Trust me when I tell you that your final images are chosen with care and consideration.

What kind of equiptment do you use?
I shoot with only top of the line Canon cameras and canon and Tamron lenses. I also use an extensive line of lighting equiptment including flashes, strobes, umbrellas, soft boxes, backgrounds and more.
