I am a wedding and portrait photographer. Like many other wedding and portrait photographers, my focus is obviously on the people themselves. During a wedding day, the majority of the images I take are of the bride, the groom, the bridal party, family & friends. After all, that is what the day is all about!

Sometimes, we tend to overlook the details of the wedding day. There is so much time and preparation to make a wedding day special and look beautiful. The rings, dress, shoes, flowers, table center pieces, cake, even the way the food is displayed are things that I love to capture to complete telling the story of the wedding day. These things are part of the story and I love to capture details during a wedding day.

I was honored to capture the wedding day of John and Sabrina in Chicago at St. Zachary Catholic Parish in Des Plaines, IL and the reception at Poretta’s in Chicago, IL this past Saturday. John and Sabrina’s wedding was an Italian wedding and one thing any Italian family takes seriously is the food! And boy- the food displays were outstandingly beautiful. See some of the detail shots from John and Sabrina’s wedding day below:
