I was so excited to have met Tianhui (“Tina”) last February. Tianhui is such a sweet, gentle soul. I was so happy when she contacted me to photograph her wedding. Tianhui and Andrew met while studying abroad in Europe. Their love story is so unique and amazing! The proposal happened on a snowy day in the park. The two of them love to play tennis and walk the dog together.
Their wedding day was elegant and classic. Tianhui’s wedding gown was “White” by Vera Wang from David’s Bridal and was stunning. Her bridesmaids also wore dresses from David’s Bridal.
The day started at Fox and Hounds Day Spa in Bloomington. Her stylist was an absolute artist and her hair was flawless!
I loved how the bridal party was so adventurous to get an awesome image downtown Bloomington and some fun images at Miller Park too!
The ceremony was timeless and beautiful. The ceremony took place at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Bloomington. The structure of that building with the beautiful doors in the front made for some beautiful images!
The way Tianhui wove her Chinese heritage into the reception at the Doubletree Hilton was so breathtaking. From the Chinese lanterns to the candles and the Father/Daughter Dance that left people in tears – it was magical!
